MARCH CONSIGNMENT

Please note that we now have separate contracts for each of our departments, making it more apparent, the number of items that we can accept per consignment take-in. Please print the appropriate contract for your items.

Consignment Take-In Hours are 9:30 am - 11:30 am

HOUSEHOLD: 8 Items Total

Household will be accepted on Sat Mar 1, Wed Mar 5, Sat Mar 8, Wed Mar 12, Sat Mar 15 & Wed Mar 19

  • EASTER decor will be taken Sat Mar 8 & Wed Mar 12 and Sat Apr 5 and included in your total of 8 consigned items
  • NO PLASTIC ITEMS including serving dishes, trays, storage boxes, trinkets
  • NO SINGLE COFFEE MUGS
  • NO CIGAR BOXES
  • Each tub requires a separate contract. 
  • Large items that do not fit in tubs require a separate contract
  • All items should have the account number discretely attached (preferably on the bottom)

CLOTHING: 5 Items in total incl. clothing, hats, shoes, belts & purses

Spring includes Moody Plum, Wispy Pink and the Pantone color of the year, Mocha Mousse. Do you have these bold colors to consign with us? Bring us your fresh styles and vibrantly colored clothes and accessories. Polka dots, floral embellishments, bell sleeves, micro-minis and maxis are the in-trends to mix and match by layering pieces. Come with us as we offer our shoppers fashion forward trends.

Reminders:

  • No heavy coats or woolens
  • ONE Pair of Women's Pants ONLY and no skinny jeans
  • Men’s shirts-cleaned and pressed accepted only on Sat Mar 8 (no men's pants, coats or suits please
  • No longer accepting Old Navy, Costco and Walmart brands
  • All items should have account numbers discreetly attached/taped in lining near the inside label - but not covering the label

PURSES AND SHOES: Purses & Shoes are counted in your 5 item total items, but need a different contract on Sat Mar 8 & Wed Mar 19

  • No Winter Boots
  • Linings must be clean, free of stains and not peeling
  • Place stickers with consignment number on the bottom of shoes

HIGH END DESIGNER CLOTHING and ACCESSORIES:

Tues/Thur 9:30am-12:00 pm in-store with separate contract; ask for Vera/Lisa

This is our fastest growing department and we need your designer items! Our racks and cases are full of incredible merchandise that is walking the runways and styling some of Houston's best fashionistas!

  • Clothing must be in-season or appropriately vintage
  • Maximum 2 purses and 2 pairs of shoes
  • Please make an appointment for additional pairs of shoes and purses
  • Designer sunglasses such as Prada, Gucci, and Chanel accepted. 

Designer Brands include couture brands such as Prada, Channel, Gucci, LV, Balenciaga, Hermes, Burberry, Fendi, St. John, Valentino, Dior, Gaultier, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, YSL etc.

NOT designer (but Upsale for regular consignment) is Calvin Klein, Michael Kors (unless Celine Michael Kors), Theory and any licensed designers.

JEWELRY 10 Items Total

Rodeo Season is Sterling Silver (925) selling time. We request that you continue to bring us marked silver necklaces, earrings, cuffs, bolo ties etc. They are some of our top sellers and we have become known for our Southwestern jewelry year round. So keep it coming! Thank you!

A reminder on how to deliver jewelry -- we appreciate your efforts in simplifying this process, so we can get it out into the display cases as quickly as possible!

  • Place jewelry and the folded contract inside a gallon sized zip lock bag, no tags, tape, stickers or wrappings
  • Please write your account number only on the baggie, not on each piece.
  • Jewelry drop off is indoors at the jewelry office door
  • No tortoise or ivory!
  • The Jewelry department will no longer accept sunglasses. Designer sunglasses will now be accepted through our Designer Clothing department. 

ART

The Art Department will be accepting Art on Wed, Mar 19

  • One piece (36x36 or smaller) per consignment, unless it is a pair or grouping. Please consult with our Art Department manager ahead of this consignment date if you would like to bring in something larger
  • Please also know that we do take mixed media and decorative art pieces. However, if they are large, please email art@theguildshop.org to inquire if we have the space to properly display.

FURNITURE & RUGS

We work magic to make our furniture department full of beautiful high end, decorative and fantastic finds for our customers. Because of the size of pieces coming in and the floor space in our shop, we have to have a separate process for accepting furniture and rugs.

Please upload photos and dimensions to https://theguildshop.org/pages/consignment-furniture-and-rugs. We will then get back with you and set-up an appointment to discuss. Furniture & Rugs, either donated or consigned, are accepted by appointment only, so we can best serve you and create a win-win sale.

ESTATES :  Accepted after Mar 20, by appointment only. Contact Regina at furniture@theguildshop.org to discuss and schedule an appointment.

Important Consignment & Shop Details:  Consignors, please be aware that if a Department Manager evaluates your items and the item does not meet what the Manager feels is our minimum pricing, the item will be sent to a charity.

CONSIGNMENT CHECK PICKUP: We are asking that you provide us with a photo identification. Checks are available in-store after the 15th of the month.
