Events:

*Friday, January 31st from 9:30 - 11:30 am join us for Breakfast with Woody from Woody's Furs.  Mr. Woody will give expert advise on care, styling and conditioning of resale furs.  And we have a great selection of beautiful and fashionable furs for the season.

*Tuesday, February 11 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, join us for our Rodeo shopping event, Sequins & Saddles. LET'S GET RODEO READY. Our fabulous squash blossom necklaces and the best of western fashion and accessories will be ready for all cowboys and cowgirls.

With the New Year, we would like to remind our consignors of a few items that we will continue to monitor moving forward.

• Please ensure that you read The Guild Shop Terms & Conditions and sign your contract. This must be done with each consignment and unsigned documentation will lead to delay in getting your items out on our shop floor.
• Items that are damaged, broken, stained, rusted, not clean will either be donated to another charity or disposed of at the discretion of our team. Please edit your items before bringing them to consign.
• Only one account can be opened per individual with a maximum of two accounts per household.

HOUSEHOLD: 8 Items Total

Household will be accepted on Sat Feb 1, Wed Feb 5, Sat Feb 8, Wed Feb 12, Sat Feb 15 & Wed Feb 19

• VALENTINE'S DAY decor will be taken Sat Feb 1 & Wed Feb 5 and included in your total of 8 consigned items
• Each tub requires a separate contract. 
• Large items that do not fit in tubs require a separate contract
• All items should have the account number discretely attached (preferably on the bottom)

CLOTHING: 5 Items in total incl. clothing, hats, shoes, belts & purses

Rodeo fashion is here to stay for the next few months, so bring us some beautiful fashion that you know that cowgirls & cowboy will want to strut in! Beads, tassels, worked leather, Navajo prints, sequins, cutouts, plaid and checks of all sizes!

Spring is around the corner and trends Vogue is talking about are layering pieces, #coastalprep, polished business casual, electric blues, leather weather and fancy flats. We want fashion that is current, fun and functional, so bring your best and sort your pieces to style some of our Guild Shop Fashionistas!

Reminders:

• No heavy coats or woolens and no winter boots.
• ONE Pair of Women's Pants ONLY
• Men’s shirts-cleaned and pressed accepted only on Sat Feb 8 (no men's pants, coats or suits please
• No longer accepting Old Navy, Costco and Walmart brands
• All items should have account numbers discreetly attached/taped in lining near the inside label - but not covering the label

PURSES AND SHOES: (Purses & Shoes are counted in your 5 item total items, but need different contract on Sat Feb 8 & Wed Feb 19

• No Winter Boots
• Cowboy Boots in great shape
• Linings must be clean, free of stains and not peeling
• Place stickers with consignment number on the bottom of shoes

FURS: No furs this month

HIGH END DESIGNER CLOTHING and ACCESSORIES:

Tues/Thur 9:30am-12:00 pm in-store with separate contract; ask for Vera/Lisa

This is our fastest growing department and we need your designer duds! Our racks and cases are full of incredible merchadise that is walking the runways and styling some of Houston's best fashionistas! Our Designer Section is truly the haute of haute couture.

• Clothing must be in-season or appropriately vintage
• Maximum 2 purses and 2 pairs of shoes
• Please make an appointment for additional pairs of shoes and purses
• Designer sunglasses such as Prada, Gucci, and Chanel accepted. 

Designer Brands include couture brands such as Prada, Channel, Gucci, LV, Balenciaga, Hermes, Burberry, Fendi, St. John, Valentino, Dior, Gaultier, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, YSL etc. NOT designer (but Upsale for regular consignment) is Calvin Klein, Michael Kors (unless Celine Michael Kors), Theory, any licensed designers.

JEWELRY 10 Items Total

Mon Feb 24 from 9:30 - 11:30

We would like to consign your 925 Sterling Silver -- rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and more. We have such a great selection of unique pieces and we are known for this, so keep it coming along with your other "gems"

A reminder on how to deliver jewelry -- we appreciate your efforts in simplifying this process, so we can get it out into the display cases as quickly as possible!

• Place jewelry and the folded contract inside a gallon sized zip lock bag, no tags, tape, stickers or wrappings
• Please write your account number only on the baggie, not on each piece.
• Jewelry drop off is indoors at the jewelry office door
• No tortoise or ivory!
• The Jewelry department will no longer accept sunglasses. Designer sunglasses will now be accepted through our Designer Clothing department. 

ART

The Art Department will be accepting Art on Wed, Feb 26

• One piece (36x36 or smaller) per consignment, unless it is a pair or grouping. Please consult with our Art Department manager ahead of this consignment date if you would like to bring in something larger
• Please also know that we do take mixed media and decorative art pieces. However, if they are large, please email art@theguildshop.org to inquire if we have the space to properly display.

FURNITURE & RUGS

We work magic to make our furniture department full of beautiful high end, decorative and fantastic finds for our customers. Because of the size of pieces coming in and the floor space in our shop, we have to have a separate process for accepting furniture and rugs.

Please upload photos and dimensions to https://theguildshop.org/pages/consignment-furniture-and-rugs. We will then get back with you and set-up an appointment to discuss. Furniture & Rugs, either donated or consigned, are accepted by appointment only, so we can best serve you and create a win-win sale.
